We are currently recruiting for multiple clients who are in need of a Senior Tax Manager/Partner in the lower mainland And Toronto. These opportunities are with accounting firms ranging from small (15 people) to leading midsize firms to large international firms.

We are looking for a Senior Manager or Partner in Canadian Tax that specializes in private owner managed clients and has planning experience.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Developing budgets, determining resource requirements, and directing engagements.
• Participating in managing a compliance groups by assisting with forecasting future planning, compliance and advisory work and delegating work effectively
• Maintaining continuous communication with clients, managing expectations and ensuring outstanding client service.
• Determining all information necessary to guarantee accurate tax compliance products.
• Formulating a plan to gather information. Overseeing the issues management process and adapt to challenges in the compliance process.
• Sharing knowledge to grow professionally while enhancing service delivery.
• Facilitating open communication and supervising staff and peers.

The ideal candidates must have:·

• An undergraduate degree in a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of tax experience
• An accounting designation or other related experience or certification relevant to an area of specialization
• General knowledge of tax laws with specialized knowledge in 1 or more technical areas
• Proficient knowledge of automated tax processing systems and Microsoft Office tools
• Excellent supervisory, analytical, and leadership abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• CICA In-Depth Parts 1 and 2 completed
